What a dynamic duo...all decked out in pink and ivory. Introducing Marie Antoinette and Joseph II, both in excellent condition, including the lace, flowers, leaves and labels. These California era (1945-1959) pieces could be as much as 70 years old. Marie has the best example of porcelain lace that I have ever seen. The gold tipped edges on the parasol are almost totally intact, as likewise on her headpiece. The flowers and leaves are perfect with all gold edges visible....something I have never seen on this piece. Her name label and the oval gold/black Josef Originals California label are in perfect condition. She has crazing but it is totally appropriate for this piece from Muriel's earliest creations. Her companion piece is Joseph II. He shows a bit of wear on the very edges of his ascot and also on the gold/black Josef Originals California label. The name label is in excellent condition. His black hair bow is intact. To find these two piece together and in such good condition is a collector's dream! The pair SOLD for $180 plus our flat rate shipping to anywhere in the continental US.
