This sweet little gal has had a rough life....I can't even tell you her name. She's part of the Greetings series, which includes For Baby, Bon Voyage, Thank you, For Baby, Secret Pal, Happy Birthday and Get Well. The first four mentioned are documented in reference books with photos, so we know that For Baby is in a blue pleated dress with a pink gift. Bon Voyage is in a pink pleated dress with a yellow hankie. Thank you is in a green pleated dress with a white gift and Secret Pal has a yellow pleated dress with a gold mirror with a question mark in her right hand. All pieces have the same style wide brim, matching color hat with a shiny gold ribbon. This piece fits the description of a Greeting series piece...right down to the pleated dress and matching hat. She has flowers in her hand...get well? Happy Birthday? Unfortunately, the flower leaves are broken, her right wrist is repaired, her bow on the hat is broken, neck is repaired as is the bow on the back of her pink, pleated dress. It must have been a hard fall! But I just know she is worthy of a loving home, to fill a missing spot in your collection or just remind you of the perfect piece you are looking for.
