This is another new offering on JosefDolls.com and another early one from Muriel Joseph George's career. She is Polly (in brown) from the Flower Holders series. She's a delicate little piece of perfection standing 5" tall with no crazing. Where have some of these pieces been to be in such wonderful condition? She is carrying a potted plant and all four leaves are perfect and the tiny decorative leaf on the front of the pot is intact. All the gold accents are beautiful, and I ecspecially like the gold rim around the planter edge on the back. Please see the photos, and you will see what I mean. ****The Flower Holder series has two styles that I know of (be sure to jump in here and let me know if there are more...). Polly is shown in the brown piece and also a yellow dress version with matching yellow bonnet. Molly is in a V neck dress in either yellow or brown with matching wide brimmed hats.
