From the Greetings series, I have a sweet little piece for your consideration called For Baby. She's a darling piece that looks brand new with a shiny, immaculate finish of delicate blue. But guess what? There's no question as to whether the new baby is a boy or a girl...she's carrying pink booties trimmed in gold! She includes the silver/black Josef Originals label with the curl...and guess what else. Interestingly, there is an ink notation on the bottom (usually I'm not a fan of that...but...) that gives us a clue to date of the piece. Look at the last photo in the group and see that someone wrote "WAHOO 1956"....so cool to think that maybe it is that old (and the silver/black label goes along with the theory, too.) I wonder what it means...finally a baby is coming/has arrived? I'm just enjoying the thought of who might have owned it. Well, now you can! Maybe you have a place in your collection for this darling Greetings piece. Thanks for putting up with my musings.
