Descriptive title...Young Lady in Lavender Gown from "The Prom" series, as shown on page 58 of the Josef Originals A Second Look by Jim and Kaye Whitaker, 1996. She's a beautiful piece, (but the gown looks a bit more pink to me) and is in excellent condition. She includes the original gold/black Josef Originals label and the small Japan label and incising on the bottom. She is shown in the above mentioned reference guide at $70-80. I would guess this was produced during the transition from Muriel's era to George Good. Her eyes are brown, but the label is Muriel's (however labels can easily be changed) and the reference guide shows 1985. SO...the questions continue and Muriel would still be amazed at all of us clamouring for information and collecting her pieces!
