This 8" tall figurine from Josef Originals is not clearly identified in any of the available reference books. While it fits the size and look of the "Romance" series, there is no definite information. Making that observation, the $150-160 range seems appropriate. The name is documented in Josef Originals A Second Look by Jim and Kaye Whitaker on page 75. This piece is in pristine condition. The tag is well worn from being rolled up and stored inside piece.
2021 UPDATE...I am happy to be able to update this piece. After some help from Will and Karen Winn, and their years and years of Josef Originals expertise and knowledge, it appears that some additional information answers a few questions about this piece. The back of the hangtag, while wrinkled from being stored inside the piece, reads THE FIRST YEAR, which should be the name of the series. On page 69 of the latest reference guide by Jim and Kaye Whitaker and Dee Harris, Josef Originals 3rd Edition, Revised and Expanded, are other pieces that fit the theme and look of the Honeymoon piece. Could it be that "Dinner for Two" and "Tea for Two" are also part of this series? We cannot be sure at this point...but it makes sense. Reference to the gold wedding band on her hand of these two pieces is also interesting. The other unnamed piece on the same page is marked with an undescriptive title..."Baby Shower Gift." Could that also be a part of the FIRST YEAR series? All three of these gals have updo hairstyles with a rose attached....but so do several from the Romance series.
