THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD PREVIOUSLY AND LISTED FOR REFERENCE ONLY....
A very unique music box that still plays but does not have full function. It is only referred to as Girl with Swan. Originally, when wound up to play, the swan revolved on the base as the girl watched. There is no mention of the series. (There is also a music box that has a birthday cake on.) In the case of the swan, someone glued the swan to the base. There is a wind up key that is not original (slightly too tall), but if you wind it up, and activate the on button, it plays well. Please see the photos. She has no visible damage, even the arms, hands and swans neck, no chips or dings. If you are interested in her, I will explain it and instruct how to make it play. It's a darling piece...but who knows how it was damaged? She SOLD for $25 plus our flat rate shipping to anywhere in the continental US.
NOTE: There are a couple of pieces that are probably in the same series. One is also a music box that has a birthday cake on the piece with Mom and daughter around the table....and the birthday cake revolves. This piece has the small, gold rectangle George Good label. The other is a player piano that has a music roll that turns. I would assume all three of these are from the George Good era.
