India is a part of the Little Internationals series and is one of the difficult ones to find. She is in excellent condition. Her colors are bright and the gold trim is very shiny and not worn at all. ***NOTE...the oval black/gold label with Japan on it is the label that followed the ones marked with California. The third type of black/gold Josef Originals label included the curl underneath and a small oval Japan label was affixed to the bottom of each figurine. Sometimes this type of information can be helpful in dating the pieces, as Muriel Joseph George ever kept any records on her beautiful creations.
