THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD PREVIOUSLY AND IS LISTED FOR REFERENCE ONLY...
At first glance, I was ecstatic. I had never seen this piece before! I know now that she is part of the cherished series, Joy of Spring. Often sought after, but seldom seen, this is Ann and she is holding a potted hyacinth which is definitely a sign of spring. Unfortunately, Ann must have taken a fall because she is repaired at the waist and both arms. From the front, she displays beautifully. The repairs are visible upon closer examination and the waist repair....well, please see the photos. This piece has been sold.
Note: From what I can find, this is a six piece series best described as follows: Ann (green with hyacinth), Robin/Rose (lavender with bluebird), Mary (yellow holding a lamb), Robin (?? in pink holding something blue), A gal in Pink with a parasol and a gal in blue with baby chicks. There were no names with two of the figures, but all follow a spring theme.
