Sunny

Sunny is another early California Era piece by Muriel Joseph George.  She stands 4/5" tall and is just as charming as she can be.  Holding the little flower (in perfect shape), she is dressed in yellow, bows on the bonnet are perfect and her finish is wonderful  She includes the oval gold/black Josef Originals label and also the gold name label.  The bottom is incised with Josef 53 and the trademark circle.  It would be so interesting to be able to ask Muriel what the numbers meant...only a few pieces have numbers.  Whether she attempted to use a number system and gave up...we just don't know.  But Sunny is a real find and if you would like to add her to your collection, she is $70 plus our flat rate shipping to anywhere in the continental US.  I hope you enjoy seeing her.
